Synopsis

A daughter's
investigation.

A poetic and autobiographical documentary following Ark Miura as she traces the life of Keiko Clark — a mixed-race woman navigating postwar America — to confront questions of identity, belonging, and what it means to love oneself.

“Every frame is a reality I face as a multi-cultural women living in between many different realities.”

“I didn’t set out to make a film about my journey. However as the filming progressed, I learned the film was perhaps my journey to coming to terms with life, using Keiko’s book and presence as a guidance.”
